Queenita Nichole Johnson-Blackmond
July 2019
Queenita Nichole Johnson-Blackmond — better known as Queenie — is a CNA with 20 years of experience. She has been a part of our team since November 2018. Originally from Buffalo, New York, she has lived in Foxworth for 28 years. She has seven children and two grandchildren.
Our residents consider Ms. Johnson-Blackmond the “Bath Queen,” with countless residents complimenting her.
She drives an hour and a half to work daily. When asked why she commutes so far, she responded, “I truly respect the leadership, vision and work ethic of Christy Lambert, the Director of Nursing, and I enjoy the staff and residents of Stone County.”
She enjoys being a CNA, she said, because “everyone has a story and I love learning from their experiences to improve myself.” She takes pride in knowing she helps people through a difficult time of their life and assist them in regaining their independence.
We are truly blessed to have her as a part of our team.
